Mr. Moody brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience in corporate finance, strategy and operations at a variety of biotechnology companies, including several clinical and commercial stage companies. He helped raise significant capital allowing the acceleration of key clinical programs. Most recently, Mr. Moody was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at PaxVax, a company valued at $270 million, and was responsible for oversight and management of all financial functions for the specialty vaccine business. Prior to this role, Mr. Moody served as Chief Financial Officer, North America at BTG PLC, a $5 billion medical device/specialty pharmaceutical business where he led the strategic finance initiatives for North America. In addition, Mr. Moody has held senior management positions with several biopharmaceutical firms, including Chiron, Peplin and technology companies, including IBM. Mr. Moody began his career at Chiron Corporation and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and studied finance at the Haas Graduate School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.
